Description
1 Timothy L. Runke appeals, pro se, from an order denying his WIS. STAT. § 974.06motion(2003-04). Runke claims that: (1) the trial court erred in accepting his guilty plea; (2) his trial counsel was ineffective in advising him to plead guilty; (3) the court had not advised him that it was not bound to accept the plea terms and that trial counsel should have objected when the trial court did not provide that warning; and (4) post-conviction counsel was ineffective for failing to raise the first two issues. Because Runkes claims are barred by State v. Escalona-Naranjo, 185 Wis. 2d 168, 179, 517 N.W.2d 157 (1994), we affirm.
